The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 Β£ per year.

We have a highly regarded Commercial Property team at VWV, and due to growth in the team, we are now looking for a Legal Secretary to join our Bristol office. You will add tremendous value by supporting our lawyers with a range of secretarial and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

  • Handle Bighand dictations, invoicing and provide Work-In-Progress (WIP) reports.
  • Manage document production and formatting, including tracking changes, engrossments, and diary management for the legal team.
  • Organise meetings, file documents using the post folder system, and archive files.
  • Obtain official copies from the Land Registry, produce search results, and confirm bank details with law firms.
  • Assist other teams in dating, scanning, and sending out important documents.
  • Collaborate with a team of seven fee earners and assist other secretaries with workloads when needed.

Who Should Apply

  • Meticulous, organised, and proficient in IT and formatting with excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel with strong administrative experience.
  • Self-starter eager to make a positive impact to a busy team.
  • Previous secretarial/PA experience is desirable; candidates with experience in a legal environment will be given preference.

Where Will I Be Working

VWV has a unique and engaging culture. The role follows a hybrid model; for this position, we would like you to work from our Bristol office for at least 3-4 days per week. We are happy to discuss any specific hybrid-working requirements on an individual basis.
