Role and Team
This role offers the best of both worlds – working with a small group of Birmingham based experts yet being part of a larger national practice of 33 fee earners. As part of a dedicated team of 7 employment law fee earners in Birmingham, you'll enjoy being able to make a big impact on the success story of the team. Our reputation is striking for a team of this size — we are ranked in both the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners (2026). The most striking features of our role are the variety and quality of work in which you'll get involved. You'll enjoy all the generalist areas of employment law you'd expect from a firm of our size from advisory work, employment contracts and TUPE through to defending complex employment tribunals. In addition, you'll be able to work across a variety of interesting and buoyant sectors including education and charities.
Qualifications
- Experience as a senior associate or legal director in employment law.
- Experience in supervising other lawyers.
- Ability to find and engage in networking opportunities.
- Strong commercial acumen.
Working arrangement
We work to a hybrid model. For this role we would like you to work from our Birmingham office flexibly for at least 2 days of the week, with the option to discuss specific requirements for hybrid working on an individual basis.
