About The Role

SALARY: £83,530 pa dependent on experience

LOCATION: Field Based, UK

HOURS / CONTRACT TYPE: Full Time Fixed Term contract – 35 hours per week until August 2027

We're looking for a high‑impact, commercially driven Head of Finance Sales – Audi & Porsche to lead from the front and deliver exceptional results across one of the most prestigious brand portfolios in the industry.

In this pivotal leadership role, you'll inspire and empower a team of Regional Development Consultants to deliver outstanding performance across New, Used, Aftersales, Renewals and Insurance. You'll play a key role in executing the National Sales Strategy, working in close partnership with senior stakeholders to accelerate growth, maximise profitability, and enhance retailer engagement.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and deliver best‑in‑class sales performance across Audi and Porsche, driving volume, margin, retailer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Develop and execute the finance sales plan, including targeted campaigns, strategic interventions and robust business cases backed by risk and opportunity analysis.
  • Build powerful relationships with Brand Managers and retailer stakeholders to unlock opportunities, mitigate risk and influence decision‑making at the highest level.
  • Own commercial negotiations, leading on rates and terms to secure strong, sustainable volume commitments while protecting margin and ensuring customer fairness.
  • Drive strategic alignment, collaborating across the wider sales leadership team to deliver and continuously optimise the national sales strategy.
  • Champion high performance, embedding best practice across the network and leading key sales initiatives and transformation projects.
  • Represent VWFS (UK) at key industry and brand forums, acting as a trusted voice and senior ambassador.
  • Leverage data and insight to make agile, evidence‑based decisions, optimise resource deployment and deliver accurate forecasting and target setting.
  • Lead with integrity, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and embedding a culture of responsible selling and strong governance.
  • Challenge constructively, identifying and addressing non‑compliant behaviours and safeguarding the customer experience in line with Consumer Duty expectations.

What you’ll bring:

  • You’re a proven sales leader with deep expertise in automotive finance or marketing, known for delivering results through others and operating with strong commercial acumen.
  • A strong track record of leading, coaching and inspiring high‑performing sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of the motor finance landscape and regulatory environment.
  • Experience working within or closely with the Volkswagen Group Retailer Network (highly desirable).
  • Exceptional negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, mitigate risk and drive change.
  • A confident challenger approach, able to influence at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and planning capability to translate insight into action.
  • A passion for developing talent and building engaged, high‑performing teams.
  • The credibility and presence to operate effectively at senior leadership level.
