A prestigious independent school is looking for a professional and dedicated Office Administrator to join their office team.

The School Office Administrator plays a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the College, providing high-quality administrative and organisational support to staff, pupils, and parents. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Daily management of registration
  • Act as a welcoming first point of contact for pupils, parents, visitors, and external partners
  • Collaborating with the Safeguarding team on individual pupil cases
  • Organise and manage regular building utility and facilities checks and maintenance
  • Manage incoming communications, ensuring all enquiries are handled promptly and professionally
  • Assist with the preparation of written documents
  • Provide administrative and organisational support for the Senior Leadership Team
  • Other adhoc support as and when required

The successful Office Administrator candidate will:

  • Have previous experience working in an administrative, secretarial or office role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and a busy workload
  • A can-do attitude and desire to get involved, positioning themselves as the lynchpin and go-to team member in the office
  • Warm, calm, professional manner and commitment to high standards of customer service

The Details and Benefits:

  • Permanent role
  • This role can either be a full-time role, or term time plus 2-3 weeks
  • Start date ASAP
  • Salary up to £35K FTE
  • Normal working hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm, with a 1-hour lunch break, Monday to Friday
  • Occasional evening work
  • Free lunch during term time
  • Training and support provided
