VWA are working with a prestigious independent school that prides itself on delivering excellence, in staff and pupils alike. The school are looking for a professional and dedicated Office Administrator to join their office team.
The Office Administrator role:
The School Office Administrator plays a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the College, providing high-quality administrative and organisational support to staff, pupils, and parents. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Daily management of registration
 - Act as a welcoming first point of contact for pupils, parents, visitors, and external partners
 - Collaborating with Safeguarding team on individual pupil cases
 - Organise and manage regular building utility and facilities checks and maintenance
 - Manage incoming communications, ensuring all enquiries are handled promptly and professionally
 - Assist with the preparation of written documents
 - Provide administrative and organisational support for the Senior Leadership Team
 - Other adhoc support as and when required
 
The successful Office Administrator candidate will:
- Have previous experience working in an administrative, secretarial or office role
 - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 - Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and a busy workload
 - A can‑do attitude and desire to get involved, and position themselves as the lynchpin and go‑to team member in the office
 - Warm, calm, professional manner and commitment to high standards of customer service
 
The Details and Benefits:

 - This role can either be a full-time role, or term time plus 2-3 weeks

 - Salary up to £35K FTE
 - Normal working hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm, with a 1‑hour lunch break, Monday to Friday
