A temporary (3 months minimum) role for a Procurement Analyst in the transport industry, either remote or city-based office. The start date is the week commencing 22nd June, with an hourly rate of £13 - £26 per hour + holiday pay (depending on experience).

Our client, a leading figure in the transport industry, is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to support contract assurance, data remediation, and record validation activities, helping to ensure the integrity and auditability of their procurement information. The client is open to candidates with less direct experience but the right transferable skills and potential, as well as those who come from procurement and demonstrate direct experience.
About the Procurement Analyst Role:
This role involves supporting the review, validation, and cleansing of contract records. Key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing contract records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Reading, interpreting, and extracting key information from contractual documentation.
- Identifying and resolving data quality issues, including missing documentation and incorrect data fields.
- Supporting contract data cleansing and remediation activities within the contract management database.
- Locating, organising, and uploading supporting contract documentation to maintain audit-ready records.
- Validating contract information against source documentation.
- Cross-checking contract data across procurement, commercial, and finance systems where required.
- Monitoring, tracking, and reporting progress against assigned activities and deliverables.
- Escalating issues, risks, or challenges in a timely manner.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately across large volumes of data.
- Structured, methodical, and highly organised approach.
- Ability to manage high workloads while maintaining accuracy.
- Comfortable working with incomplete information and investigating discrepancies.
- Proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
- Collaborative team player with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Previous experience within procurement, commercial, contract administration, or supplier management environments (desirable).
- Experience working with contract management systems or procurement databases (desirable).
Additional Details:
Fully remote role - with the option of going into the city-based office. Core hours are 9am - 5pm.
