VWA are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Financial Administrator to join a fantastic, collaborative Interior & Architectural Design Studio. Our client is renowned for their great reputation and their motivated, supportive team.
As Financial Administrator you will be responsible to undertake the company's day-to-day accounting procedures. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing accounts receivable and payable
- Liaising with clients on all financial related issues
- Controlling credit and chasing debt
- Preparing and processing payments nationally and internationally
- Managing and reporting cashflow
- Liaising and assisting an external bookkeeper with VAT returns and EOY accounts
- Assisting COO on producing finance reports, reporting to HMRC, pension and payroll
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Financial Administrator in the UK
- AAT Accounting qualification
- Hands-on experience with Xero accounting software
- Multi-currency accounting
- Proficiency on Apple Macs
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions)
- Working with high accuracy and excellent attention to detail
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills and ability to switch between projects and tasks effectively
- Excellent communications skills and fluency in both written and spoken English
- Positive and self-motivated
Part-time: 20 - 25 hours a week. Salary up to £45k pro-rata, dependent on experience. Hybrid: 1 day in the office, the rest of the week at home. Flexible hours within studio opening hours Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM (but should include some work every day). Competitive benefits.
