About the Client: We've just taken on a brilliant temp IT support role for a global merchant bank based in Berkley Square, Mayfair. Our client invests in tech, media and telecom and are looking for someone to join in a temp capacity on an ongoing basis.
About the Role:
- Deliver 'break-fix' support for office equipment (laptops, managed iPhones, peripheral items such as workstation setup hardware)
- Provide fundamental desktop troubleshooting to users (Windows assistance, Microsoft 365 applications, Adobe, Web, firmware/driver upgrades)
- Support IT Manager with on-site user administration through Active Directory and Azure/Entra
- Act as liaison between users and IT Manager for additional remote troubleshooting handled by IT Manager during ET business hours (email release from security gateway, third-party application management, vendor correspondence, etc.)
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
- Experience supporting company executives.
- Ideally experience working in a regulated sector - finance would be preferable.
Additional details:
- Standard hours are 9am - 6pm
- This is a fully office-based role
- This role could last anywhere from 3 days to 1 month. This will depend on additional internal conversations around a longer-term replacement.
- Holiday closure from December 24th - January 2nd
- Competitive hourly rate (based on experience).
