An international firm in the Insurance sector is looking for an enthusiastic HR Manager ready to step up and join their team on a 12 Month maternity cover contract.
Interested applicants must be immediately available or on notice period up to a maximum of 4 weeks.
The Role & Core Duties:
- Payroll – liaising with payroll providers in each of the 12 global locations. You will have the support of the finance team and trained on the requirements for different locations, however prior experience in a global environment would be ideal.
- Build relationships with stakeholders across the business.
- ER – handling matters within the business – prior exposure or handling of ER matters (redundancies, disciplinaries etc.) is preferable. Advising in line with HR policies.
- Manage and support on key strategic projects, working with the Director.
- Workday implementation – working with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
- Oversight of day to day HR operations.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Generalist HR experience, ideally from financial services.
- Payroll management and exposure to ER preferable.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation (international would be a bonus).
- Organised, comfortable working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Adaptable self-starter, muck-in attitude and collaborative.
- CIPD Level 5 or 7 is desirable.
- Knowledge of Workday would be desirable, or experience of implementing alternative HR systems.
The Details:
- Core hours are 9am – 5pm with some flexibility to work beyond as necessary.
- Hybrid working – 3 days in the office per week.
