A growing real estate private equity company based in Mayfair, with around 35 in the London office and additional offices in Europe, offers a collaborative and social team culture and good additional benefits.
This is a fixed-term contract maternity cover HR Manager role which will encompass all aspects of day-to-day HR within the London and European (French and German) offices, including:
- Providing HR support to employees across Europe, including employee relations, recruitment, hiring and onboarding
- Monthly payroll management - liaising with external payroll providers for European payroll and managing UK payroll (tax codes, holiday, maternity pay etc)
- Managing the annual review process
- Ensuring company benefit schemes are up to date, liaising with providers etc
- Keeping HR system up to date
- Keeping up to date with employment law
- Day-to-day HR Administration
Candidate Specification:
- Strong HR Management experience within a fast-paced corporate environment - previous experience within financial services is not required, but may be advantageous
- Experience of process improvements
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practice / employee relations. Some experience of EU (French and German) employment law would be highly advantageous.
- Fluency in French and / or German is highly desirable, but not essential
- CIPD qualification or equivalent
- Muck-in attitude - happy with taking on HR administration as well as the operational side of HR.
Additional Information:
- Salary up to £90K depending on experience
- 14 month fixed-term contract commencing June 2026
- Hours are 9am - 5:30pm
- Hybrid working - 1 day a week from home, however mainly office-based for the first 4-8 weeks to allow for a full handover.
