This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing global executive search and consulting firm as a key role within their People team. You will be joining a collaborative, fast-paced London office on a fixed-term basis as they embark on a period of huge growth.
VWA have worked with this exciting firm for over 10 years and are recruiting a Human Resources Manager role sitting within the expanding People team. The role will report directly into the Chief People Officer in the US, allowing for fantastic exposure. You will work with leaders and other team members on a wide variety of people-related initiatives.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide HR expertise to the executive search team by addressing workplace concerns and guiding managers through performance, behaviour, and team dynamic challenges.
- Work with leaders to drive meaningful performance discussions, objective setting, and feedback.
- Facilitate improvement initiatives and leverage insights to boost team productivity and engagement.
- Partner with HR Operations to deliver seamless employee lifecycle activities from hire to exit, including compensation adjustments and structural changes.
- Ensure accuracy in HR data management and help enhance internal tools and procedures.
- Uphold compliance with employment legislation, company guidelines, and ethical practices.
- Contribute to organisation-wide People & Culture projects and participate in recurring activities like annual reviews, talent assessments, and pay cycles.
Candidate Specification:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience.
- Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a similar field.
- Demonstrable experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner, ideally within professional services, executive search, consulting environments or other high-velocity corporate settings dealing with employee relations issues and having a specific focus on compliance.
- Strong grasp of employment law, compliance requirements and core HR lifecycle processes.
- Skilled at navigation between big-picture HR strategy and day-to-day operational needs.
- Brilliant communication and relationship management capabilities.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and exercise sound judgement.
- Experience working with HRIS software and HR documentation practices.
Additional Information:
- Competitive salary β c. 70-100k.
- Hours are 9am β 6pm β due to the international nature of the role, flexibility outside core hours is required.
- Hybrid structure.
- FTC until January 2027, ideally starting ASAP β either this side of Christmas or in January.
