Business Development Manager (starting Q1 2025) At VWA – Boutique Recruitment Consultancy Permanent West End Up to 45K depending on experience 9-VWABD/NCWVWA is hiring! We are looking for an experience Business Development Manager to join our growing team in early 2025.About Us: VWA is a boutique recruitment consultancy and has been established for 35 years – there is a true family feel in our culture and approach. We partner with a number of London and internationally based firms to support with a range of hiring needs, including business support and administrative roles, Private PAs, Operations, Marketing, HR, Finance, Investments and Accountancy. VWA clients range from private equity firms, hedge funds, venture capital firms, management consultants, executive search to public relations, renewable energy, digital advertising, brand management, new media and property.About the Business Development Manager role:With the objective of expanding and diversifying VWA’s search offerings, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for:The identification and pursuit of new business opportunities and relationships.Sourcing new clients and roles and facilitate introductions between the new clients and consultants who will then work to fill the positions. The BD Manager will not play a primary role in account management and filling positions, but will maintain exposure to the clients.Working with the Search, Marketing and Research Divisions to devise and implement BD and Client Relationship Management (CRM) strategies and campaigns, and provide granular analysis on them.Working to specific, target KPIs.A nuanced understanding of the recruitment market and VWA values in the discharge of their responsibilities.Maintaining integrity, honesty and realism while pursuing their targets.About You:Prior business development experience is essential – ideally from a search/recruitment or similar environment.Degree-educated (or equivalent).Advanced Microsoft Office, and experience using other IT programmes or databases.Strong attention to detail, an efficient approach to work and with a warm and approachable manner.Natural rapport-builder, and have a team-working and commercial mindset.Additional Details:Core hours are 9am – 5, with flexibility to work beyond these hours if required.The company operates a hybrid working structure (3 days office-based) however the successful candidate will be fully office-based while onboarding into the role.Competitive base salary up to 45K depending on relevant experience and eventual participation in commission scheme and discretionary bonus.If you’re looking to build a successful career in recruitment in a fun, supportive and team-spirited environment and have relevant business development experience, we would love to hear from you!
