A well-established, purpose-led organisation within the education sector is seeking a temporary Website Editor to join its fully remote Digital, Marketing and Communications team.
This is a hands-on Website Editor role responsible for reviewing, publishing and maintaining content across the organisation’s websites. The role will primarily focus on day-to-day content publishing, alongside building new pages and supporting website performance and analytics.
Responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing, editing and publishing website content
- Building and updating web pages using a CMS
- Ensuring content is accurate, accessible and on brand
- Applying basic SEO best practice to online content
- Monitoring website performance and analytics
- Working with colleagues across the organisation to manage content requests
- Identifying and resolving day-to-day website content issues
Candidate Specification:
- Previous hands-on experience using a CMS to edit and publish web content
- Ideally at least one year’s experience within web content, digital or a similar role
- Strong written skills and excellent attention to detail
- Good understanding of SEO and website best practice
- Comfortable managing multiple content requests and deadlines
- Experience with Google Analytics or similar tools would be advantageous
- Sitefinity experience is beneficial but not essential; training can be provided
Additional Information:
- Temporary opportunity for approximately 12 weeks, with potential to extend
- Salary equivalent of £25,245–£31,825 depending on experience
- 35 hours per week, typically 9:00am–5:00pm
- Some flexibility around working hours
- Fully remote role
