About the Client: Our client is a leading figure in the transport industry, seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to support contract assurance, data remediation, and record validation activities, ensuring the integrity and auditability of procurement information. About the Procurement Analyst Role: The successful candidate will support the review, validation, and cleansing of contract records, ensuring that contract information is complete, accurate, and aligned with procurement standards and governance requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing contract records for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Reading, interpreting, and extracting key information from contractual documentation.
  • Identifying and resolving data quality issues, including missing documentation and incorrect data fields.
  • Supporting contract data cleansing and remediation activities within the contract management database.
  • Locating, organising, and uploading supporting contract documentation to maintain audit-ready records.
  • Validating contract information against source documentation.
  • Cross-checking contract data across procurement, commercial, and finance systems where required.
  • Monitoring, tracking, and reporting progress against assigned activities and deliverables.
  • Escalating issues, risks, or challenges in a timely manner.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately across large volumes of data.
  • Structured, methodical, and highly organised approach.
  • Ability to manage high workloads while maintaining accuracy.
  • Comfortable working with incomplete information and investigating discrepancies.
