A prestigious and highly regarded client in the finance industry (investments) with offices in London. The team is approximately 250 in London, with additional global offices. The business supports personal and professional development.
This is a Manager position, which will involve working closely with the Director to manage clients, team performance and development. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Undertake all aspects of client relationship management across the end to end client lifecycle
- Managing a large and established book of private wealth clients
- Build deep and trusted relationships with HNW/UHNW individuals and families
- Identification of new business development opportunities
- Acquire and take on new clients – carrying out presentations and pitches, assessment of suitability and compliance checking
- Undertaking transfer of assets for departing clients where relevant
- Ensuring all client communication adheres to relevant regulation (COBS 16 and COBS 4)
- Supporting the Director with management of a small team of Associates and Senior Associates – manage resources, monitor team performance and ensure relevant CPD training
- Act as first line of defence to adhere to current and future FCA obligations
- Ad-hoc additional support to the Director as appropriate.
Candidate Specification:
- Completion of the CFA Level II or Level 7 CISI is essential for this position
- Previous experience of client relationship management within the private wealth space
- Previous experience of running with client meetings independently
- Highly service-oriented approach, including clear and concise communication with clients
- Team-playing and collaborative nature
- Previous experience of people management is not required for this position.
Additional Information:
- Salary is competitive and dependent on experience; the business offers excellent additional benefits, including a discretionary bonus and 9% pension
- Hours are 9am – 5:30pm, with flexibility required for out-of-hours work where necessary
- The business offers a hybrid working model of 1-2 days from home
