VVB Engineering are Mechanical and Electrical Installation services for a variety of industries. An opportunity has arisen for an IT Administrator to support the IT Manager and external IT Support team, providing 1st line support to office and site locations. This position will be primarily based from our Head Office in Chelmsford, but will be expected to service the London office and a site location once a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide application support to SAP B1 users
- Provide support to mobile phone and iPhone users
- Provide application support to hosted and cloud-based systems
- Configuring and issuing new hardware to end users
- Device troubleshooting - Office 365 repair, Windows updates, driver updates, software package installation and removal, printing and scanning problems
- Work with the external IT support team to complete requests relating to the Active Directory
- Working with the external IT team, supporting the LAN/WAN/VPN and RDS
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within a similar position
- Previous experience supporting LAN, WAN, VPN and RDS
- Knowledge of Office 365, Active Directory, Windows 7, 8 and 10
- Educated to A level standard, or equivalent
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to communicate through various mediums at various levels
