In the UK, we have a key focus in the Nuclear sector, contributing to ground breaking projects, such as Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Sizewell C (SZC). Join us in shaping the future of sustainable energy, we are seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to join our dedicated Project Controls team and play a crucial role in ensuring project's success through effective risk management.

Some of the main responsibilities of the Risk Manager will include:

  • Establish and maintain comprehensive risk registers.
  • Ensure all potential risks are identified, documented, and monitored throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify, develop, and implement risk mitigation and action plans.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective execution of mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the overall Risk Management Strategy and Plan.
  • Ensure alignment with project objectives and industry best practices.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analysis on the Integrated Works Schedule.
  • Advise Programme Directors on key risk areas to enable proactive mitigative actions.
  • Lead workshops with large groups of Project Managers to capture and assess risks comprehensively.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to ensure thorough risk identification.
  • Work closely with other Risk Managers across different programmes to avoid risk duplication.
  • Ensure a cohesive approach to risk management across all project areas.

  • Proven experience as a Risk Manager, in large-scale infrastructure, construction, energy or highly-regulated projects.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using data analysis tools (such as Monte-Carlo) for risk assessment and management.
  • Experience in conducting both qualitative and quantitative risk analysis.
  • Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in risk management.
