We are seeking a Supply Chain Auditor to join the Hinkley Point C project — the UK’s first new-build nuclear power station. Reporting to the Supplier Quality Manager, this role is central to ensuring that suppliers meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will conduct audits, assess compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain to support safe and high-quality project delivery.

Some of the main responsibilities of the Supply Chain Auditor will include:

  • Conduct supplier audits at manufacturing facilities to assess compliance with quality and technical requirements
  • Perform audits against standards including ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 19443:2018
  • Evaluate supplier performance, identifying risks, non-conformances, and improvement opportunities
  • Support the implementation and closure of corrective and preventive actions
  • Escalate quality risks and issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Produce clear, structured audit reports and action plans in line with company standards
  • Support suppliers in understanding and achieving required quality expectations

Qualifications:

  • Lead Auditor qualification in ISO 9001:2015 and/or ISO 19443:2018
  • Demonstrable experience as a Lead Auditor within regulated industries
  • Proficiency in digital tools and reporting systems
  • Experience working on nuclear projects or within the nuclear supply chain
  • Previous experience in supplier quality assurance or development roles
  • Experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and process mapping

Reside locally to Somerset or be prepared to relocate, as this permanent role does not include travel expense coverage. Please note that visa sponsorship is not guaranteed and is assessed on a case-by-case basis, depending on role criticality and project needs. Many of our UK projects require high-level security clearance, meaning we can often only consider candidates with an existing, indefinite right to work in the UK.
