We are looking for a Records Discipline Lead (Welding) to support a major project in the UK. This role is focused on site-wide completions, ensuring all welding discipline-specific LTQR (Lifetime Quality Records) deliverables are captured, reviewed, and processed on time and in alignment with project deadlines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as the single point of contact for all welding discipline-specific records.
  • Serve as the technical liaison with MEH Site teams and Assurance Leads.
  • Interface with the MEN Completions Team regarding CTP/EESR.
  • Ensure all welding discipline records across the site are captured on time, perform technical reviews, and resolve issues to support Area LTQR deliverables.
  • Support Area LTQR Coordinators in processing welding discipline records.
  • Manage Area Discipline LODs, track asset installation, verify documentation, and ensure completion.
  • Be familiar with the project Scope of Work, specifications, nuclear standards, drawings and procedures.
  • Perform AS9 / IWOC verification and track task completion after LTQR A-Acceptance in Teamcenter.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • CSWIP 3.1 or CSWIP 3.2 OR PCN Level II OR ONC/HNC/HND/City & Guilds/Recognised Apprenticeship in a relevant discipline.
  • Successful competency-based interview.

Additional Qualifications / Experience (as per MEH onboarding matrix):

  • Excellent IT skills and experience using EDMS (Electronic Document Management Systems) and metadata schemas.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within the nuclear industry or another safety-critical environment.
  • Ability to work with and resolve issues involving a wide range of stakeholders in a multicultural environment.

Beneficial but not mandatory:

  • IWS (International Welding Specialist)
  • IWT (International Welding Technologist)
  • IWE (International Welding Engineer)
  • VT, PT, RT Level 2 or Level 3
  • UT, AUT, TOFD Level 2 or Level 3
  • Major project experience

  • Experience working in alliance-based projects
