Warehouse Administrator – Melton (Full-time)
Ready to bring order, accuracy and momentum to a busy warehouse?
Join us at Vuba Surfaces in Melton as a Warehouse Administrator.
This is a hands-on admin role at the heart of warehouse operations—where your attention to detail helps keep deliveries moving, stock accurate, and teams supported.
If you’re the person colleagues turn to for clear updates, tidy systems and reliable paperwork (or spreadsheets!), we’d love to hear from you.
Why you’ll enjoy this role
Warehousing doesn’t run on guesswork—it runs on accurate records, timely communication and smooth processes.
In this role, you’ll help ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time by maintaining warehouse documentation, supporting day-to-day admin tasks, and communicating effectively with internal teams.
You’ll be working in a dynamic, fast-growing environment where continuous improvement matters.
No two days are exactly the same—sometimes you’ll be chasing delivery notes, other times updating stock records, preparing dispatch paperwork, or supporting colleagues with the information they need to keep things moving.
- What you’ll be doing
- As Warehouse Administrator, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate warehouse records and ensuring documentation is completed correctly and on time.
- Processing incoming and outgoing paperwork, including delivery notes, dispatch documents and related administrative tasks.
- Updating stock and system information to support inventory accuracy and operational planning.
- Coordinating with warehouse teams to ensure orders are processed efficiently and any admin queries are resolved promptly.
- Raising and monitoring queries where information is missing, inconsistent or needs checking.
- Supporting the dispatch process by ensuring the correct paperwork accompanies goods.
- Assisting with reporting by compiling relevant data and updates for internal stakeholders.
- Keeping the admin area organised and maintaining clear audit-ready processes.
- What we’re looking for
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a dependable, detail-focused approach and the confidence to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
You don’t need to know every warehouse process from day one—what matters is your reliability, your accuracy, and your ability to communicate clearly.
You’ll ideally have
- Previous experience in an administration or warehouse/operations support environment (or strong transferable admin experience).
- High accuracy and a natural instinct for catching errors before they become problems.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities in a busy setting.
- Competence with IT systems and a working knowledge of spreadsheets (e. g., Excel).
- Clear communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to work well with warehouse colleagues.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help—whether it’s a quick check, a document chase, or updating records.
