Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized person to join Vuba Surfaces as a Specifications Sales Executive, this will be a key role focused on developing relationships with Specifiers and Architects. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a pipeline of projects with clients ensuring Vuba products are the first choice on Commercial and Residential projects as well as promoting the benefits of using Vuba resin bound surfacing.

Duties

  • Responsibility to deliver expected conversion rates on a select number of projects following a cradle to grave approach in collaboration with the wider sales team
  • Liaising with all key stake holders on new projects, while documenting progress and activities on all personally assigned opportunities
  • Effective and forward diary planning
  • Managing Contractor terms and agreements, including regular reviews on levels and spend to justify terms
  • Providing first line technical dialogue and information to your selected customer base
  • Liaising with clients and dealing with objections
  • Dealing with all incoming enquiries quickly and providing excellent customer service to our customers
  • All reporting is to be completed weekly on the CRM system
  • Identifying incremental growth opportunities
  • Representing and supporting the business at various social and brand awareness events
  • Site Assistance and technical training
  • Own the delivery and supply of your projects by supporting our operational departments

Experience

  • An excellent knowledge of the Architects marketplace, and a proven track record of working on large scale commercial, Industrial and Residential projects
  • Capability to handle technical dialogue at all levels, and experience of presenting to groups.
  • Ability to quickly become a technical specialist in resin bound surfacing products.
  • Excellent Account Management skills and the ability to build excellent working relationships at all levels.
  • An understanding of the project stages and decision-making process in commercial and residential construction.
  • Driving license is essential for this role as there will be travel involved.
