VTA Recruitment is recruiting a Tanker/box driver (class 2) on behalf of our client based in Birmingham. They provide reliable and responsible waste management solutions for materials including liquids, solids, fuels and chemicals, as well as delivering a range of supporting services. They are fully accredited, offer nationwide coverage, and provide solutions across the following four key areas: Automotive, Marine, Chemical, Industrial & Manufacturing. Job description: Multiple collections (daily) of Oil from garages around the UK 2 to 4 nights out per week will be required. Our client will be able to offer you the opportunity to develop within waste management, so if you hold the relevant licenses and no industry experience, our client will be happy to provide training. Benefits: * Bonus scheme * Performance bonus * Company pension * On-site parking * Monday to Friday * Overtime available * Full time – permanent * £13.61 per hour £20.41ph paid after 45 hours (Paid breaks) Responsibilities: * Delivering exceptional customer service. * Ensuring safe and professional operations in line with client standards. * Daily collections of Oil from garages around the UK Requirements: * Valid Cat C driving licence, Digi Tacho card, Driver CPC Qualification * ADR licence in class 2 tanks * Familiarity with drivers’ hours legislation and tachographs * Full Clean HGV/LGV Driving Licence * Candidates will need to demonstrate initiative, self-motivation and a high degree of good customer service, along with enthusiasm and a flexibility to work in all areas of the country. * Candidate must be available to do nights out. Experience: * Driving Class 2: 1 year (required) * Experience of multi pick up work is preferred * Sound UK geographical knowledge
