Warehouse Operative - Nights
Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 1am - 9am
Start Date: ASAP
VTA Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on a night shift basis on behalf of a well-established company based in Preston (PR2).
Our client specialises in active temperature-controlled deliveries to hospitals, pharmacies, wholesalers and medical care surgeries. They have a reputation for quality, compliance, operational and customer-facing technology and monitoring solutions in the growing temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical logistics market in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking, checking and packing pharmaceutical products
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Carrying out manual handling duties
- Handling inbound and outbound consignments
- Completing paperwork and relevant documentation
- Working in line with standard operating procedures
- Packing products ready for delivery and loading vehicles for distribution
- Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times
Key Skills and Requirements
- Computer literate
- Good attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
