VTA Recruitment Ltd are working on behalf of a locally managed service provider in recruiting a driver to join their streetcare team. Our client is a market-leading waste management company working on behalf of Stockport council. Position: Driver/Operative (Nights) Department: Streetcare – Street Cleansing Working Hours: Sunday- Thursday nights, 9:30 PM to 5:24 AM (37 hours per week) Rate of Pay: £15.90 Key Responsibilities: Drive a 6.5-tonne tipper vehicle for street cleansing tasks. Operate alone, responsible for emptying up to 160 litter bins per night. Perform physically demanding work, including handling and lifting. Requirements: Driving Licence: Minimum C1 licence with Tachograph card required to operate the vehicle. Experience: Desirable experience driving a small mechanical sweeper.
