We are recruiting on behalf of a market-leading waste management company for a Gardener/ Grounds Maintenance Operative with Ride-on Mower experience to help maintain parks and public green spaces in Cheadle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and has experience operating ride-on mowers and grounds maintenance equipment. You'll play an important role in keeping public spaces safe, clean, and looking their best for the local community.

Monday - Friday 07:15am - 16:21pm
Temp to Perm
Key responsibilities
- Operate ride-on mowers and other grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
- Carry out grass cutting, strimming, edging, hedge trimming, and general gardening duties.
- Complete daily vehicle and equipment safety checks, carrying out basic maintenance where required and reporting any defects.
- Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure the safety of yourself, your colleagues, and members of the public.
- Work as part of a dedicated team to deliver a clean, safe, and attractive park environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience operating ride-on mowers.
- Experience in gardening or grounds maintenance.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- A strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail.
