Ad Hoc Class 2 Drivers

VTA Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of two of our well-established logistics clients for experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to support operations across Middleton and Heywood on an ad hoc basis.
This role is ideal for drivers who enjoy the flexibility of ad hoc work and are available to accept shifts at short notice. With a mixture of day and night shifts available, this is a great opportunity for drivers looking for flexible work that fits around your availability.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Safely operate Class 2 (Category C) vehicles in accordance with road traffic legislation and company procedures.
- Complete deliveries and collections efficiently, ensuring goods are transported safely and on time.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly
- Complete delivery paperwork, P.O.Ds, and electronic records accurately.
- Load and unload vehicles where required, ensuring loads are handled safely and securely.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum of 12 months’ Class 2 driving experience
- No more than 6 points on your driving licence
- A reliable, flexible, and professional approach to work
- Strong communication and customer service skills
