VTA Recruitment are looking for an Vehicle Parts Advisor to join a family run business in Chadderton (Oldham) specialising in the motor industry. The organisation runs a successful business, operating 2 busy depots in Oldham (Head Office) and Peterlee. As a Motor Vehicle Parts Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for assisting customers with their vehicle parts needs. Your communication skills will be essential to effectively understand and address customer inquiries. This is a great opportunity for the right person to join our clients friendly team. Mon-Fri. Free onsite parking. Working Hours and pay Monday – Friday. 8am-5pm 30 min lunch break. £25.5k per annum. Temp – Perm Key responsibilities: Inventory management : Keeping track of stock levels, ordering new parts, and overseeing parts returns Customer relations : Helping customers find and purchase the correct parts, and providing regular customer contact Special orders : Overseeing special orders Collaboration : Working with service managers to ensure parts are available for repair jobs Administrative work : Handling inventory, deliveries, and stock rotation Profitability : Working with the dealer principal to maximize profit Business strategy : Translating business strategy into operational plans for the parts department Sales : Growing the sale of New Parts to 3rd parties such as garages and body shops Requirements and skills: Excellent communication skills Excellent organisational skills The ability to work as part of a team A willingness to learn A high level of IT literacy, including MS Office Accuracy and attention to detail JBRP1_UKTJ
