Gardener/Hygiene Operative in Cheadle, Cheshire

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Gardener/Hygiene op to join our clients team based in Stockport. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and a strong understanding of garden maintenance. This role involves working outdoors, engaging with various plants and landscapes. You will also be helping the team with hygiene duties, this will include cleaning public areas and littler picking.

• £12.59 per hour
• 07:30am – 15:20pm shifts (37hrs) subject to change
• Sunday – Thursday
• Temp – Perm

Duties

• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various gardening tasks.
• Perform landscape maintenance activities including planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching.
• Assist in grounds keeping duties to ensure the gardens are tidy and well-presented.
• Emptying communal bins
• Collecting litter across public areas
• General hygiene maintenance.
• Cleaning public areas

Experience

• Previous experience in gardening or landscape maintenance.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in gardening tasks.
• Must be able to work well within a team and have strong communication skills.
• Must be comfortable with working outside in adverse weather conditions.
