About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Cambridge IGCSE Business Studies Teacher to deliver engaging and exam‑oriented instruction aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong subject knowledge in Business Studies and a commitment to student progress and achievement in Cambridge assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach assigned subjects based on the Cambridge International Curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver creative lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments aligned with learning goals.
- Apply differentiated instruction to accommodate varying student needs and learning styles.
- Track student progress through formative and summative assessments; provide timely and constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment with clear expectations and mutual respect.
- Maintain communication with parents/guardians on academic performance and behaviour.
- Participate in curriculum development, exam preparation, and academic planning.
- Engage in departmental meetings, school training sessions, and professional development activities.
- Support school‑wide initiatives, student clubs, competitions, and events.
- Perform other duties assigned by the School BOM.
Work hours: Max 48 hours/week, scheduled by the School Board.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area.
- Professional teaching certification/license required.
- Master’s degree is an advantage.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in secondary education.
- Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum preferred.
