Requirements
- Educated to a minimum of GCSE and A Level. Degree preferable but not essential.
- Proven track record in UK Convenience &/or Wholesale channel, with strong existing relationships and demonstrable success in driving growth and securing listings.
- Strong wine knowledge (WSET Level 2 or above desirable).
- Solid commercial and financial understanding.
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel & PowerPoint).
Main Functions
- Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute growth strategies for the UK Convenience and Wholesale channels, driving increased distribution, revenue, and brand positioning for VSPT.
- Commercial & Account Management: Identify and secure new business opportunities while managing key strategic partnerships, leading negotiations on pricing, promotions, and joint business plans.
- Field Execution & Brand Awareness: Ensure product visibility and availability through direct customer support at depots and stores, leading customer-facing activities such as trade days, tastings, and promotional events.
- Data Analysis & Financial Control: Analyze performance data to optimize results across SKUs and regions, maintaining accurate forecasting and disciplined budget management according to commercial targets.
- Cross-functional Collaboration & Market Insight: Act as the internal channel expert, collaborating with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure the seamless delivery of commercial initiatives and market trends.
