We are recruiting a Chief Growth Officer to lead our global fundraising and partnership strategy. This role is ideal for a visionary leader with a track record in income generation, who thrives in resource-constrained environments and is passionate about people-centered social impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a global growth strategy aligned with VSO’s mission.
- Lead income generation across institutional donors, trusts and foundations, corporates, philanthropists and individual givers.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships to expand VSO’s reach and impact.
- Explore appropriate innovative financing and generate multiple source funding plans.
- Lead, inspire and manage a high performing team across VSO.
- Represent VSO at global forums and donor events.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in resource mobilisation and fundraising at scale.
- Strategic thinker with leadership experience in the not-for-profit sector.
- Visionary not-for-profit leader skilled in navigating evolving development challenges and driving innovative fundraising solutions.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience working in international contexts and multicultural teams.
Location
Home based in a country where VSO can employ. Applicants must have the legal right to live and work in their country of residence (VSO is unable to sponsor visas or work permits).
Significant flexibility is required on hours of work, virtual (80%) and in person engagement, with internal and external stakeholders across a range of time zones.
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: Competitive– a national contract benchmarked with the local employment market for the successful applicant, with benefits pension contributions and health insurance allowance.
