Main Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute audits across VSL’s scope (soil mixing, embankments, plastic cut-off walls, load transfer platforms).
  • Support client audits, providing evidence of compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.
  • Manage audit findings, corrective actions, and timely close-out.
  • Advise engineering, construction, and supply chain teams on QA/QC requirements.
  • Identify systemic issues and recommend improvements through structured audit processes.
  • Support surveillance and configuration management, including Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs).
  • Promote a strong quality culture across delivery teams and stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Lead Auditor in large-scale infrastructure, nuclear, or other highly regulated projects.
  • Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (essential); familiarity with ISO 19443 is advantageous.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred.
  • Strong understanding of audit principles, QA/QC systems, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Analytical, detail-focused, and committed to seeing tasks through to completion.
  • Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application.
