We are seeking a QA Tester to join our development team and own testing for both web and desktop applications. You’ll design and execute test plans, identify and report bugs, collaborate with developers and product managers, and help improve QA processes and automation.
Key Responsibilities- Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test suites for web and desktop apps.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, smoke, and exploratory testing.
- Triage, document, and track defects in the issue tracker; verify fixes and perform re-testing.
- Work with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Contribute to and maintain automated test scripts (UI/API) and test frameworks.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives; provide input on quality and risk.
- Help define and improve QA processes, test coverage, and release readiness criteria.
- Produce clear test reports and metrics to inform release decisions.
- 2–5 years of hands-on QA experience testing web and desktop applications.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and testing best practices.
- Experience with manual testing and writing clear, reproducible test cases.
