Rotable Repairs Ltd, a VSE Aviation Company, is one of the world’s leading specialist Aircraft Wheel and Brake MROs, providing services for most commercial and regional jet and turbo prop aircraft including all wide and narrowbody Boeing and Airbus aircraft. As a Part 145 EASA/FAA and TCCA Approved Workshop facility, Rotable Repairs provides quality repair and overhaul services that are trusted by airlines and aerospace organisations the world over.
To support the company’s repair activities across the business. This is a key mechanical role to the business repairing and overhauling aircraft wheels and brakes to be released into service. All parts will be identified and controlled by querying the work orders and various computer systems at your disposal to determine work scope.
Level I – Specific RequirementsLevel I is intended for individuals who have recently joined the team and possess minimal or no prior experience. Successful candidates will undergo one-on-one training under the guidance of a qualified trainer for a duration of 3 to 6 weeks.
Minimum Entry Requirements- NVQ Level 1, Vocational Qualification Level 1, GCSE grade D-G, ESOL skills for life, Functional Skills Level 1 English Math & ICT.
- Proficient in basic math, reading and writing (English), with the ability to understand work instructions, maintenance manuals, and customer specifications.
- Basic understanding and working knowledge of tools and equipment.
- A positive and professional attitude.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of process operating procedures, documentation, and parts control.
During Level I, individuals will undergo a 3-month probationary period. Upon successful completion of this period, candidates are required to gain an additional 9 months of experience, demonstrating consistent progress and the capability to handle basic tasks, to be eligible for promotion to Level II. Candidates who exceed performance expectations may be considered for an earlier promotion to Level II.
Training/CertificationBasic maintenance and safety training will be provided.
