A world leader in analytical instrumentation is seeking an accomplished, ambitious and commercially astute GC-MS Technical Specialist. Acting as a Technical Expert no day will be the same, as you’ll be spending time travelling to labs, meeting new people and helping customers with a variety of analytical challenges. Your duties will cover the following: * Aiding in the development of customer GC-MS methods * Demonstrating analytical methods/proof of concept * Technical support to the sales team * Providing customer training and post-sales support In addition, you will also attend high profile industry conferences, presenting technological advancements and helping to build the company’s customer base with a focus on mass spectrometry instrumentation, This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced scientist to utilise their wealth of GC-MS, method development/troubleshooting experience in a new exciting role and work with the company’s latest GC-MS/MS technology. For this role, you can be based from home and be expected to travel approx. 50% of the working week around England to customer sites or the applications laboratory with the occasional overnight stay. To be considered for this highly dynamic and diverse role, you must have: * At least 3 years’ experience with GC-MS instruments (including QQQ) * Understanding of method development, optimisation and troubleshooting * Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting scientific information to an audience * Strong customer facing experience is highly beneficial Apply today to learn more about this exciting opportunity!
