A leading scientific water technology company is seeking an aspiring Technical Product Manager to take ownership of a highly respected laboratory water purification portfolio used across various laboratory environments. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong science or engineering background who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, product development, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of innovative scientific products, working closely with engineering, R&D, technical support, and commercial teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate technical and customer requirements into detailed product specifications
  • Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams on technical decision-making and product development
  • Support technical releases, product improvements, and lifecycle optimisation
  • Investigate and help resolve product quality and performance issues
  • Act as a technical specialist for customer, sales and application-related enquiries

About You

  • Degree qualified in a science or engineering discipline
  • Strong technical communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience working with scientific, laboratory, analytical, or industrial equipment is highly desirable
  • Experience with water technologies is a nice to have
  • Ability to balance technical detail with commercial and customer needs
