We are recruiting a Laboratory Technician to join a well-established, leading manufacturer of scientific consumables and a trusted provider within the Life Science industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced laboratory technician seeking career growth in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Job responsibilities:
- Preparing and manufacturing laboratory products
- Processing and fulfilling sales orders, including labelling and packaging
- Managing inventory levels and ensuring stock is well maintained
- Overseeing equipment maintenance and calibration schedules
- Conducting internal audits and assisting with external assessments
- Supporting the development of SOPs, risk assessments, and quality management documentation
- Supervising and training laboratory staff and supporting the laboratory team lead where necessary
Requirements:
- Hands on laboratory experience is essential
- Experience with ISO 17025 & ISO 17034 is desirable
- Strong organisational and planning skills with great attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Additional experience with COSHH, risk assessments, and dangerous goods shipping are a plus!
