Our client is a global leader in scientific technology, providing chromatography solutions to customers across the petrochemical, energy, pharmaceutical, and environmental sectors. As part of their continued growth, we’re seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their team.
As an Account Manager, you'll act as a trusted advisor to scientific clients across the UK & Ireland, understanding the scientific goals of your customers and tailoring solutions that support their workflows. You’ll engage with a mix of existing accounts and new prospects, supported by an established brand and product reputation.
This role suits a salesperson who is driven, and naturally comfortable engaging with technical stakeholders. You should enjoy asking questions, understanding challenges, and recommending meaningful solutions, take pride in your work and value relationships built on trust, not just transactions.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Proven Scientific instrument sales experience, ideally with strong technical experience of relevant techniques (Chromatography preferred)
- Account management experience and the ability to identify and convert new business opportunities
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with senior technical and commercial stakeholders
- Experience working towards and achieving targets
- UK Drivers Licence and the willingness to travel
- Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
The role offers a competitive basic salary, plus uncapped commission with realistic OTE of 20% on top. Additional perks include a company car or allowance, private healthcare, pension, and strong learning and development resources.
