An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Formulation Scientist to join a growing pharmaceutical development team. This hands-on role will see you supporting the development of oral solid dosage forms through formulation, pre-formulation and analytical characterisation activities, while working closely with both R&D.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of oral solid dosage formulations through formulation and pre-formulation activities
  • Plan and execute small-scale manufacturing studies
  • Operate and maintain formulation and laboratory equipment
  • Conduct product and material characterisation studies
  • Analyse and interpret experimental data, producing technical reports and scientific documentation
  • Support formulation design, optimisation, scale-up and manufacturing process development
  • Contribute to technology transfer and product launch activities
  • Ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated, maintained and operating effectively
  • Research and evaluate scientific literature, technical information and pharmacopeial references to support development projects
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with quality standards
