An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Formulation Scientist to join a growing pharmaceutical development team. This hands-on role will see you supporting the development of oral solid dosage forms through formulation, pre-formulation and analytical characterisation activities, while working closely with both R&D and other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of oral solid dosage formulations through formulation and pre-formulation activities
- Plan and execute small-scale manufacturing studies
- Operate and maintain formulation and laboratory equipment
- Conduct product and material characterisation studies
- Analyse and interpret experimental data, producing technical reports and scientific documentation
- Support formulation design, optimisation, scale-up and manufacturing process development
- Contribute to technology transfer and product launch activities
- Ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated, maintained and operating effectively
- Research and evaluate scientific literature, technical information and pharmacopeial references to support development projects
- Maintain accurate laboratory records
