Our client is a global provider of scientific solutions, helping laboratories around the world enable advancements in many areas such as pharmaceutical, food, environmental and healthcare. They are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Field Service Engineer to join their team covering customer sites across the South.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will travel to customer sites to carry out repairs, maintenance and installations of complex diagnostic & Life Science equipment with an initial focus on Reproductive Health Screening instruments. Within this role you will be responsible for scheduling your own time, providing on-site user training and ensuring documentation is correct and up to date.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- A HNC or equivalent in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering
- A full drivers licence
- A minimum of 2 yearsβ experience in a similar field service environment or hands-on lab-based role working with Immunoassay/automation instruments
- Comfortable with extensive & overnight travel
