An opportunity for a PhD Graduate with a thesis investigating endocrine disruption properties of chemicals, to join a well-regarded endocrine disruption risk assessment team. You will work on projects to evaluate the endocrine disrupting properties of chemical substances that are to be used in marketed chemical products.
This is an opportunity to continue developing skills and expertise in the area of endocrine disruption. You will join a team of recognised endocrine disruption experts – you will receive ongoing training and development. The work will involve assessment and evaluation of a chemical’s endocrine disrupting properties against accepted criteria under regulations such as BPR , PPP and CLP . You will review of all relevant information on the adverse effects and endocrine activity of a substance, mode of action analysis and application of a weight of evidence approach to determine if a substance fulfils the criteria.
This role would be ideal for recently or soon to graduate PhD researchers whose thesis is closely related to endocrine disruption. You must be motivated to learn, be a quick learner, be able to work independently and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
