We are looking for a Formulation Scientist to join our clients formulation team, supporting both Manufacturing and R&D through hands-on formulation development, pre-formulation work, and analytical characterisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support development of oral solid dosage forms through small-scale manufacturing and pre-formulation activities
- Operate lab equipment for blending, compression, coating, encapsulation, and in-use stability studies
- Perform product and material characterisation (particle size, tablet testing, powder flow, rheology, polymer behaviour)
- Analyse experimental data and produce clear scientific documentation
- Support formulation design, optimisation, scale-up, and technology transfer activities
- Responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment
About You
- Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
- 1 year minimum experience in formulation/materials science and laboratory-based analytical work
- Hands-on experience with techniques such as particle size analysis, PXRD, DSC, and TGA
- Excellent data analysis and scientific communication skills
