We are looking to recruit a Product Stewardship officer to join the Regulatory and Product Stewardship team at this global speciality chemicals business. The company supplies a wide portfolio of chemical products into globally based manufacturing businesses. This is a hybrid role offering flexible working conditions.
This desk based regulatory role would be suited to anyone with SDS authoring experience. You must be an SDS (Safety Data Sheet) enthusiast, be familiar with CLP as a minimum, have strong attention to detail and be looking for a chemical regulatory affairs / product stewardship role. The company is growing, they are pro-development, the team is friendly and collaborative – a great opportunity!
The role will involve ensuring all products sold are compliant with UK, EU and global regulations. You will author SDSs and labels, check hazard classifications and ensure all chemical data is maintained in a highly accurate manner. You will also provide regulatory support to commercial teams by answering queries, providing supporting regulatory documents, completing customer regulatory questionnaires and providing general advice and guidance.
We would love to hear from anyone with 1-2 years’ SDS authoring experience and knowledge of CLP. You may be looking to transition from a laboratory based role (which involves in part SDS authoring) or you may just be looking to join an ambitious and growing global business and use your existing chemical regulatory knowledge in a different environment – you must have a background in chemistry, a desire to develop a chemical regulatory career, attention to detail and personable communication skills.
