A leading global biopharmaceutical organisation is seeking a Senior Evidence Synthesis Lead to take ownership of global payer evidence and access strategy across key assets and indications. This is a senior, high-impact role operating across the full product life cycle, from peri-launch through in-market optimisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of global payer evidence deliverables, including Global Value Dossiers and assessment reports, ensuring quality, governance compliance, and timely execution.
- Own payer evidence strategy from peri-launch through critical life-cycle milestones.
- Lead early Health Technology Assessment (HTA) engagement activities and preparation.
- Translate global access strategy into clear, locally adaptable value narratives and tools.
- Support regional and local teams with launch readiness, HTA submissions, payer negotiations, and objection handling.
- Conduct readiness reviews of country-level payer value narratives and access materials.
- Identify evidence gaps and coordinate with clinical development, HEOR, RWE, pricing, medical, and commercial teams to address them.
- Ensure payer evidence generation aligns with pricing, reimbursement, and lifecycle strategy.
- Engage external experts, advisors, and vendors to validate payer evidence and access strategies.
- Contribute to scientific publications, conference abstracts, and payer-relevant communications.
- Present value narratives to external stakeholders where appropriate.
- Represent payer and access perspectives within global asset teams and governance forums.
- Lead cross-functional projects and support the development of team members in a matrix environment.
- Enable best-practice sharing across regions to strengthen access outcomes.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Approximately 10 years’ experience within the (bio)pharmaceutical industry.
- 2–6 years’ experience in market access, payer evidence, HEOR, or HTA-focused roles.
- Demonstrated experience supporting product launches and life cycle access strategy.
- Proven ability to lead projects or teams in a global, matrixed environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, health-related, or business discipline.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex evidence into clear value messages.
Desirable:
- Experience in a global oversight role for access strategy or payer evidence development.
- Hands-on experience with HTA submissions and payer interactions.
- Development of global value tools for local adaptation.
- Experience working with external stakeholders, advisors, or KOLs.
- Master’s degree, MBA, or PhD in life sciences, health economics, epidemiology, health policy, or a related field.
