As a Senior Program Manager you will support the delivery of medium to large, complex, cross-functional projects and programs in the life science sector. By working in both client and internal focused settings, you will be responsible for the creation and deployment of strategic programs representing major company initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Daily Activities: Manage team schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff, and ensure deadlines are met while providing mentoring and coaching.
- Oversee Projects: Lead large cross-functional projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, resolving issues, and managing internal and external relationships.
- Develop Solutions: Collaborate with stakeholders to create solutions and guide project teams, distributing routine status reports and Gantt charts.
- Foster Growth and Expertise: Encourage team development through coaching and knowledge-sharing, leading by example and driving continuous improvement.
- Influence and Communication: Effectively communicate complex ideas, influence stakeholders, and contribute to new products, processes, and operational plans. Up to 30% travel.
Requirements:
- BSc degree in a relevant field & PgMP/PMP certifications preferred – experience in combination with education will be considered.
- Detailed knowledge of laboratory projects across all lifecycle stages is highly advantageous.
- Experience of regulated environments (GxP) and scientific asset management.
- Demonstrable experience of staffing, training, development etc is preferred.
- Excellent problem solving, innovation and organisational skills.
