The chemical industry underpins everything from life-saving medicines to everyday materials, yet large-scale process development is still slow, costly and heavily reliant on trial and error. Our client is changing things - they’re building an AI-powered platform to radically improve how chemical processes are developed and scaled. Commercial momentum is building fast and they’re now looking for their first Head of Sales.

In this consultative sales position, you will:

  • Build technically led, long-term partnerships with global pharma, agrochemical and specialty chemical organisations.
  • Build and execute account-based sales strategy with tier-1 chemical and pharma organisations.
  • Design and implement scalable sales process (CRM, qualification, pipeline).
  • Shorten enterprise sales cycles and build sustained momentum across target sectors.
  • Establish a repeatable, measurable sales pipeline.
  • Hire and mentor the first commercial team member.

The company is seeking a technically fluent business developer who can translate scientific innovation into scalable business growth. Strong background in chemical/process engineering – confident discussing challenges and solutions in this space.

~5+ years commercial (Sales, Business development or Account Management) experience. After this period, a hybrid or remote working arrangement is available.
