A disabled woman with severe ME/CFS, who is housebound and bedbound at almost all times, is seeking a female Personal Assistant to provide domestic support, intimate personal care, and general housekeeping. Support needs fluctuate from day to day. Reliability, calmness, and consistency are essential. All duties must be carried out at a slow, gentle, unhurried pace in line with an energy-limiting condition.

Duties include:

  • General housework (cleaning, laundry, tidying, changing bedding)
  • Preparing simple meals and drinks
  • Maintaining a calm, low-stimulation home environment
  • Intimate personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting (essential)

Applicant requirements:

  • Female applicants only (genuine occupational requirement due to intimate care)
  • Kind, reliable, and trustworthy
  • Comfortable providing intimate personal care
  • Calm and patient, comfortable in quiet environments
  • Able to work under your own initiative
  • Must like dogs
