Het team operationele voorbereiding bevindt zich midden in alle brandweerprocessen en veranderingen. Het team opereert op het grensvlak tussen voorbereiding en incidentbestrijding, met als hoofddoel een maximale en optimale voorbereiding van de incidentbestrijding in Limburg-Noord, afgestemd op de risico’s.
Wat ga je doen?
- Je adviseert en ondersteunt de afdeling Brandweerzorg over maatschappelijke ontwikkelingen en de vertaling daarvan naar onze organisatie.
- Je volgt de landelijke ontwikkelingen dan ook op de voet.
- Je levert een aanzienlijke bijdrage aan het opstellen van beleid en de implementatie en evaluatie daarvan.
- Je bent een sparringpartner voor collega’s op het gebied van de maatschappelijke ontwikkelingen in brede zin.
- Je kunt vanuit jouw expertise ook een projectleidersrol vervullen of meedenken vanuit jouw vakgebied bij collega’s.
- Daarnaast ben jij een belangrijke verbinder tussen het team Operationele voorbereiding en het team Crisisbeheersing.

- Wij zoeken een collega die verbinding kan leggen, energie brengt, resultaten kan behalen en kan meedenken op complexe vraagstukken.
- Je verdiept je in thema’s om te kunnen adviseren over de rol van de brandweer bij de aanpak van crises.
- Je bent sterk in het schrijven en uitdragen van adviezen en beleid.
- Aantoonbaar hbo werk- en denkniveau;
- Uitstekend analytisch vermogen;
- Iemand die goed de link kan leggen tussen brandweerzorgen, crisisbeheersing, door de kennis en/of ervaring die wordt meegebracht;
- Iemand die accuraat en zorgvuldig is;
- Bereid om een bijdrage te leveren aan de warme/repressieve organisatie;
- Al opgeleid zijn daartoe is een pré.
Wat wij bieden
Een mooie vacature binnen onze brandweerorganisatie waarin advies en beleid samenkomen. Daarnaast vinden wij een gezonde balans tussen werk en privé belangrijk en bieden wij daarom veel eigen ruimte en flexibiliteit. We beginnen met een aanstelling voor de duur van een jaar; bij goed functioneren en wederzijdse tevredenheid wordt de functie na een jaar omgezet naar een aanstelling voor onbepaalde tijd. De functie is gewaardeerd op schaal 10 van de CAR/UWO, minimaal €3.727 en maximaal €5.575 bruto per maand (norm 1 augustus 2025, gebaseerd op 36 uur per week). Inschaling vindt afhankelijk van opleiding en werkervaring plaats. Daarnaast mag je van ons een vrij besteedbaar individueel keuze budget (IKB) verwachten van 18,63% bruto boven op je maandelijkse salaris. Dit budget is onder andere te zetten voor fitness, een fietsplan, verlof en scholing.
