Warehouse Night Worker Operative
Location: Strood, ME2 2JX
Contract: Temp to Perm
Pay: Β£13.19 per hour
Sunday to Thursday β 40 hours per week. 8 Hours per day.

Following the expansion of our services locally, we are excited to promote a new opportunity to join our experienced team of night unloaders/loaders based at our Strood depot. This opportunity would suit a local person with their own transport.
The role would ideally be suited for an individual who has had previous experience working nightly hours in a warehouse environment.
Skilled in the use of counterbalance or high reach forklifts would be preferred, however we do offer in-house MHE training through our accredited instructor, should you wish to pursue this career path.
The successful applicant will also be given extensive training in the safe and effective operation of all MHE and processes surrounding the loading and unloading of our vehicles.
Hours of work: 40hrs per week. Core hours 20:00 β 07:30 (E.g. 22:00-07:00 or 20.00 to 05.00 inclusive of breaks).

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Have a flexible attitude to working hours
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- Applicants must be of good health and of reasonable fitness and achieve a high work rate
What You\βll Do On a Typical Day
- Assist with the loading and unloading of our own vehicles.
- Undertake manual handling tasks that may involve some heavy lifting in a fast paced environment
- Adhere to our Health & Safety policies, to ensure yours and your colleagues safe operation whilst working in a busy warehouse environment.
